Looking more like a float fly rather than a winter fun fly, the 2009 event had a huge turnout!

With a temperature of +5 degrees and light breeze from the west, the snow and ice melted quickly from mid morning creating water hazards in all directions.

That certainly didn't deter members and over twenty aircraft were flown.
I was happy to get on the sticks for the first time in 2009, with Scott lending me his plane for the flight. Thanks mate!
