This is the Kingston Radio Control Modelers Club Giant Scale fly in August 2006.
It was a 450+ kilometre round trip drive for Linda and I and we had a great day. The Kingston field is amazing!
Complete with a beutifully maintained grass strip, clubroom with outside cover, picnic tables, BBQ, toilets etc... Its surprising the pilots ever go home!
It was a great family day and represented with plenty of large aircraft. Not much in the way of 'heavy metal' warbirds for me, but something I had better work on.
We attended the Saturday only of the 2-day event, I hope the weather on Sunday improved as it closed in late Saturday.
Thanks to all the people we talked to during the day for a great day.. enjoy!
